To make our city ‘Clean and Green’ Twenty Five NCC Second Year Cadets enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive. They cleaned on and off the area situated near 7H Bus stand and all streets leading to it. It was a nice experience for the students.
The Combined Annual Training Camp conducted by 1 Tamilnadu Battalion NCC, Chennai was held at VIT University from 25th May to 3rd June, 2019. Seventeen NCC Cadets from our institution attended the camp enthusiastically. Their performance during the camp was adjudged as very good.
The Combined Annual Training Camp conducted by 1 Tamilnadu Battalion NCC, Chennai was held at Dhanalakshmi College of Engeering, Manimangalam, Tambaram in the month of September. Seven NCC Cadets of our institution attended the camp and participated in various competitions such as Drill, Weapon Training , Firing, Map Reading, Field Craft and Battle Craft.
Cadet Pramoth Aarya. M of Std. IX. A, participated in the Pre IGC Conducted by NCC Group and adjudged as the ‘Best Cadet’ based on his performance. He took part in the culturals and won the appreciation of everyone in the camp for his wonderful musical performance on the key Board. He was also highly appreciated for successfully completing the IGC Cum RDC.
Thus, the NCC Camps have promoted the interpersonal skills of the students and taught them several valuable lessons such as selflessness, honesty, discipline, hard work and ways to build confidence and gain leadership qualities.
